From the homeland of the Bushmen an Oil for young and very young skin
Infinite spaces and red sand dunes, beauty and solitude, rivers that appear and disappear, trees and shrubs … the Kalahari Desert with its million square kilometers (occupies a large part of the territory of Botswana, Namibia and South Africa) located among Namibia, Botswana and South Africa is pure magic and it is right there that spontaneously grow small melons that confuse the ideas and lead the tourist to the temptation of tasting.
The Kalahari Melon (Citrullus lanatus) is actually a source of nourishment and water for the animals that live in the Desert, it is its seeds that hide a beauty secret for young and very young skins.
PROPERTIES AND BENEFITS
Kalahari Melon Oil is an excellent skin care, antioxidant, non-comedogenic and repairing oil; it has great moisturizing, regenerating and restructuring properties, thanks to its high content of essential fatty acids. The seeds, collected in nature, dried in the sun and cold pressed, are rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9. This oil also contains a high level of y-tocopherol (70.56 mg / 100 g), followed from α-tocopherol (25.94 mg / 100 g), which provide antioxidant properties.
It is suitable for all skin types, but since it helps to dissolve excess sebum, it is excellent for skin prone to impurities and imperfections and also for children’s skin care. Lightweight and highly moisturizing, it is quickly absorbed.
Kalahari Melon Oil is used in body, hands, face and baby products. A light, penetrating, non-greasy, moisturising emollient oil. It is a good option for a carrier oil in Baby skin care formulations, aromatherapy, massage oils, bath oils, salt scrubs, facials, face cream, bath bombs and hair oils. Ingredient for lip balms, lipsticks and other lip care products.
