We met with local communities and visited the collection and processing points for Kalahari Melon, Mongongo and Marula seeds, from which our certified organic skincare oils originate.
In particular, in Lupane, Zimbabwe, we spent time with rural women’s groups engaged in the collection and processing of Kalahari melon seeds, from which a precious oil is obtained.
The seeds are gathered in the wild, sun-dried and then cold-pressed following traditional methods. The result is an oil naturally rich in Omega 3, 6 and 9, with a high content of γ-tocopherol and α-tocopherol, which provide antioxidant properties.
Kalahari Melon Oil is suitable for all skin types, but because it helps remove excess sebum, Kalahari Melon Oil is particularly recommended for young, impure or blemish-prone skin and skin with acne tendency. It is also gentle and suitable for the care of children’s skin. Light yet highly moisturizing, it absorbs quickly.
